Designed as a minimalist retreat by an architect who visited with his son, the house now welcomes his son’s guests. Its single-storey plan combines open living, kitchen and dining spaces. Picture windows, pale wood, stone-white linen and copper-patina walls define the interiors; oaks, olives and yellow broom surround lavender rows below the pool, reached by a coastal breeze. Views span the Luberon, Mont Sainte-Victoire near Aix-en-Provence and Sainte-Baume behind Marseille. Nearby Château La Canorgue hosted filming for A Good Year in 2005. Visit Café Le Goultois in Goult, Le Domaine du Castellas in Sivergues and Bonnieux’s Friday-morning market.

The single-storey house centres on an open-plan living space incorporating the kitchen and dining area.
Each of the three bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom and full-height glass doors leading to the private terrace.
The main house contains one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. A separate double bedroom has external access; both double bedrooms have king-size beds.
A shaded pergola beside the pool provides space for cards, drinks, reading and picnics.
An outdoor electric grill serves the dining table, which seats six.

Extra notes

Partial air-conditioning is available in every bedroom. Local tax is €1.32 per person per night, payable with the balance. Pool heating to a maximum of 27°C is included from May to October. During these months, a higher temperature can be requested at €30 per additional degree per day, up to a maximum of 30°C. Weather conditions mean that a water temperature of 27°C cannot be guaranteed, even while heating operates from May to October. Additional housekeeping costs €26 per hour and is subject to availability. Children under the age of 10–12 are not permitted, except infants who are not yet walking. Pets are not allowed.
