Casa La Croce occupies a historic palace’s top floor, with Arab-Mediterranean interiors inspired by tales of a 15th-century Saracen shipwreck and a Venetian galley fragment kept here. Vietri tiles, jewel-coloured ottomans and ironwork accompany a fireplace lounge and indoor solarium. Terraces overlook lemon trees belonging to the limoncello-producing owner and sweeping coastline views. The main terrace has a long infinity pool and dining for eight; above are a rooftop terrace, barbecue and sofas. Amalfi’s centre, Piazza del Duomo, cathedral, coastal buses and Capri/Naples ferries are ten minutes’ walk away. Marina Grande beach is closest; Maiori offers a quieter alternative.

A villa manager is available to welcome arrivals and assist guests.
Housekeeping is provided for three hours daily, six days a week.
Bed linen and towels are changed midweek.
Villa staff carry the main group’s luggage between the lift and the villa at check-in and check-out without charge, exclusively during lift operating hours, 07:30–24:00.
Rental includes water, gas and electricity; Wi-Fi; air conditioning and heating where available; initial bed linen and towels, with weekly changes for stays exceeding seven nights; welcome items; final cleaning; and garden and pool upkeep. At some properties, electricity, air conditioning and heating are subject to a weekly usage allowance, where specified in the extra notes.

The apartment occupies the uppermost floor of a historic residence, with a private entrance and all rooms arranged on a single level.
Interiors comprise a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a living room and a separate television room.
All four bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. Three sit beneath the eaves, and one bedroom also opens onto the terrace.
Outdoor spaces include a 20m infinity pool with hot tub jets, a sunbathing area and a barbecue area.
The property cannot be reached directly by car; access is by lift and steps only. Nearby parking carries an additional charge.

Extra notes

There is no vehicle access to the property. It lies approximately 150 metres from Amalfi’s centre, near the cathedral, with pedestrian access along narrow public streets and around 100 steps. Two public lifts provide alternative approaches; both operate daily from 07:30 to midnight and charge a fee. The first, recommended for arrivals by car, leaves from Amalfi’s main parking area. From its upper stop, 95 steps lead uphill; this is the shortest route. The second lift requires a further 34 steps up, 101 steps down and a 200-metre walk to the villa. Luggage assistance on arrival and departure is included. Nearby parking is available at an additional cost. Outside chef services are not allowed. A private chef may be arranged on request for an additional fee. Local regulations require city tax to be paid on site in cash, at approximately €4 per person per night. CCTV covers the property’s outdoor areas.
