High on forested rocks, this secluded 1960s house overlooks the Sirenuse Islands. Fig and olive trees fill manicured gardens; lawns and stone terraces descend towards the sea, from a pizza oven and ten-seat table to loungers and an infinity pool. Upstairs are open-plan living-dining spaces, a kitchen and two bedrooms; two lower bedrooms share a terrace and five-person hot tub. A hammock, small gym, PlayStation and Bose system complete the setting. Colli di Fontanelle’s shops and restaurants are roughly ten minutes’ walk away; Sorrento is twenty minutes by car, Positano thirty. Regular ferries link Sorrento with Positano and Capri.

The details

The top floor, at pool level, contains an open-plan living and dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a guest bathroom and two bedrooms sharing one bathroom. One bedroom overlooks the sea and the other the garden.
The lower ground floor has two sea-view bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, opening onto a shared terrace with a five-person hot tub.
The garden provides access to a small gym and a sea-view terrace with two massage tables.
Outdoor facilities comprise a pizza oven, a dining table for 10, a sofa seating area and an 11m swimming pool.
Housekeeping is provided daily.

Extra notes

Pool heating costs €500, payable locally in cash, and must be requested at least one week before arrival. The system can raise the water temperature slightly but cannot heat the water. Water temperature also depends on the weather, and the system has limited effectiveness outside the main season. Local regulations require city tax to be paid on site in cash, at approximately €4 per person per night. External chef services are not allowed. A private chef can be arranged on request for an additional fee. A €1,000 security deposit is due on arrival, payable by credit card or cash. The villa is semi-detached, with a private entrance and a clearly separated garden of its own. Privacy is guaranteed.
