Once owned by Count de Mario Caracciolo, the last descendant of a distinguished Neapolitan family who discovered it in 1970, Villa Luna retains Seventies touches. Across several levels, reading corners, soft sofas, a TV room and a bright living room with plants and portraits create an informal home. French doors connect the piano room to the garden; one bedroom occupies an externally accessed apartment. Shops, bars and restaurants are a short walk away. Nearby Marina Grande appeared in Sophia Loren’s Scandal in Sorrento; Marina Piccola offers beach clubs and Capri ferries. Boats reach Marina di Cantone and Nerano, home to spaghetti alla Nerano and three-star Quattro Passi.

The ground floor contains two living rooms, one with a piano; two dining rooms with tables seating eight and 10 respectively; a fully equipped kitchen; a games room; and a bathroom.
One bedroom with its own bathroom is also on the ground floor.
The first floor comprises an office area, two bedrooms with private bathrooms and two bedrooms sharing a bathroom.
The lower ground floor houses a gym, a spa with a heated indoor plunge pool and sauna, a laundry room and a one-bedroom apartment accessible exclusively from outside.
The outdoor area includes a 6.5m swimming pool and a barbecue.

Extra notes

The owner lives in a separate part of the villa with an independent entrance, ensuring maximum privacy. The property has stairways, balconies and/or terraces where balustrades are less than 1 m high or have openings greater than 10 cm between uprights. Sorrento’s strict building regulations mean the swimming pool is an above-ground structure with a refined finish. Some traffic noise can be expected because of the villa’s central, easily accessible position. Local regulations require the city tax to be paid on site in cash, at approximately €4 per person per night. Check-in begins at 3pm. Check-out must be completed by 10am.
