Above Positano’s beach, peach-pink Palazzo Miramare overlooks the Tyrrhenian Sea. Its eight bedrooms include the ground-floor Lemon Suite, four first-floor suites with frescoed domes, marble fireplaces and doors painted by School of Naples artists, and the pool-level Romeo & Juliet Family Suite with connecting bedrooms and a sea-facing balcony. Bougainvillea frames the terrace, with shaded dining, a garden, heated pool and poolside bar. Daily housekeeping and arrival drinks and dinner are included; a chef is available on request for lunch and dinner. The main square is 12 minutes away on foot; beaches and ferries to Amalfi, Sorrento and Capri extend the possibilities.

The details

On the ground floor are a sea-view drawing room, a professional restaurant-style kitchen, a formal dining room opening onto the terrace, and the Lemon Suite, with a double or twin beds, an en-suite shower room and terrace access.
The first floor contains four suites—Green, Blue, White and Red—each with a bathtub, frescoed domed ceiling and sea views. A single bedroom with an en-suite bathroom is best suited to a child.
The lower pool floor houses the Romeo & Juliet Family Suite: two double/twin bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and a sea-facing balcony, with direct access to the pool, poolside bar, solarium and garden.
The outdoor pool terrace includes a bar, a solarium with an outdoor shower, and a private pool that can be heated at additional cost.
Access is exclusively on foot along a public walkway with approximately 100 steps from the main road. Porter service is included; nearby parking carries an additional charge.

Check-in is restricted to 3pm–8pm. Late check-in can be arranged at an additional charge. Pool heating costs €6,000 per week. Outside chef services are not allowed. A private chef can be arranged on request for an additional fee. The villa can only be reached on foot, with an approximately 200-metre uphill approach from the main road and around 100 steps to climb. Local regulations require city tax to be paid on site in cash, at approximately €2.50 per person per night.
