Near Toulon, architect-adventurer Lucien Gassier’s pagoda-inspired chateau combines three rooftop dragons, a terracotta turret and blue shutters with restrained interiors. Five spacious bedrooms occupy two floors, opening variously onto balconies or gardens. Large windows overlook an infinity pool, manicured grounds and the Mediterranean. A steep path and ladder provide sea access; Plage des Sablettes, distinct from Menton’s namesake, is seven minutes away on foot by a gentler route. La Seyne-sur-Mer offers fishing-village life and coastal hiking, including Le Brusc–Notre-Dame du Mai. The principal bedroom occupies the first floor and has a king-size bed, a sea-view balcony and an ensuite bathroom arrangement with the bath in the bedroom and a separate shower.
Two further double bedrooms share the first floor. Both have queen-size beds and ensuite shower rooms; one also has a sea-view balcony.
The lower ground floor contains two double bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, an ensuite shower room and garden access.
The ground floor comprises a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room with a fireplace and TV room, with gardens and an outdoor dining area at this level.

Two additional rollaway beds can be placed in the rooms as needed, on request. The resident house manager and his wife can assist when needed.
