Renovated in 2025, Villa L'Escalet sits above a yacht-filled Mediterranean bay among olive trees and umbrella pines. Its 1970s character survives in the pool mosaics and circular, tree-centred mosaic table. Terraces, panoramic windows, a library, outdoor dining with barbecue and sound system, poolside daybeds and a boules court shape family life outdoors. The beach and Ramatuelle’s shops, cafés and restaurants, including beachfront seafood restaurant Chez Camille, are walkable. The Cap Taillat coastal path offers swimming spots. Saint-Tropez and Ramatuelle beach’s iconic beach club are ten minutes’ drive away; Port Grimaud lies beyond, while Saint-Raphaël, Fréjus and Cannes are under 90 minutes away.

Inclusions

Housekeeping is provided twice weekly, for four hours per visit.
Toiletries are provided free of charge.
Rental includes water, gas and electricity, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating where available, an initial supply of bed linen and towels, with weekly changes for stays exceeding 7 nights, welcome items, departure cleaning, and garden and pool upkeep. At some properties, electricity, air conditioning and heating are subject to a weekly usage allowance where specified in the extra notes.

The details

Of the six bedrooms, four occupy the ground floor and two the first floor. Four have private terraces, and five have sea views.
Five bedrooms contain king-size beds; the remaining ground-floor bedroom has bunk beds suitable for children.
Every bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower; one bathroom also includes a bathtub.
The ground floor contains a spacious kitchen, pantry, dining area and bright, airy living room with access to several terraces.
The outdoor spaces include a swimming pool with daybeds, a dining area with seating and a barbecue, and a court for boules, boccia and pétanque.
The gardens around the house contain thyme, rosemary, lavender and Mediterranean shrubs, their fragrance carried through the sea-air-nourished planting.

Extra notes

Bedroom 4 is on the ground floor, but reaching it requires climbing six steps. Local tax is EUR 7.50 per person, per night, payable when the balance is due. The house’s original hillside design and split levels, characteristic of its period, make it less suitable for wheelchair users. Guests with reduced mobility should contact us to discuss their particular requirements.
