Among Cap Ferret’s pines, this family-friendly wooden house and separate annex combine local architecture, Mexican influences and contemporary art. Architect Frédéric Thet used artisan-built timber, stone, terracotta and glazed lava flooring; a stilted wing recalls Arcachon’s cabanes tchanquées. Art includes a fresco inspired by Diego Rivera’s 1918 visit and a wooden sculpture by Joel Escalona, alongside a pink cantera fireplace. Agaves, banana plants and palms surround the jade-green pool. Outdoor spaces support play, dining and wellbeing, while a Paris bookseller curated the library. The beach and village are five minutes by bicycle; Bordeaux and its airport are 75 minutes away.

The main house has seven bedrooms across its ground and second floors; an eighth bedroom is in the independent cottage, Le Cabanon.
A Family Suite on the main house’s ground floor comprises two double bedrooms.
Every bedroom has a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom; two bathrooms have bathtubs and two have walk-in showers.
The ground floor also contains a kitchen and bar, living room, office, honesty bar and a room dedicated to children.
Outdoor facilities include a heated pool, terrace, gym and yoga deck, sauna, kitchen with a plancha and bar, open-air theatre and a 14-seat cinema beneath the pines.
