The Lake House pairs red Basque-Landes half-timbering with Dorothée Delaye’s California-inspired interiors: vintage Fernand and Mark Richards boards, a shower porthole, wave-shaped headboards and surf marquetry. The beach is five minutes by bicycle; a pine-fringed saltwater lake with catamarans, canoes and pedalos is three minutes’ walk away. Surfboards, paddleboards, bodyboards, bicycles, golf clubs and an electric beach buggy support outdoor days. Manager Nina arranges surf lessons with local legends, cooking, mountain biking, beekeeping and board-making. Nearby are Plage Blanche’s kids club, Forêt des Landes trails, lakeside restaurants, watersports and Hossegor’s shops; Biarritz is under an hour’s drive.

The main house’s ground floor contains two living areas, one with a fireplace, alongside a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and library.
On the first floor are four bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom: three have king-size beds and one has three single beds.
The lower floor contains a television room with a games console.
The annexe contains three ensuite bedrooms with king-size and queen-size beds. The two lower-floor bedrooms open onto terraces; the first-floor bedroom has a bathtub.

A local tax of EUR 4.35 per person, per night is payable locally. A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. A EUR 15,000 security deposit must be arranged directly at the villa through Swikly as a credit card authorisation. An APA pre-authorisation of EUR 5,000 is processed on arrival throughout the year.
