On Maussane-les-Alpilles’ quiet outskirts, pale golden stone meets lavender, rosemary and jasmine gardens. Local stonemasons preserved century-old walls; timber beams and stone arches remain. Bespoke glass doors open onto the pool terrace, bringing light across neutral interiors, white ceilings and pale terrazzo. Monochrome paintings, sculptural vessels and carved wooden furniture include a waterfall-like table. Hoopoes, swifts, kestrels and lizards visit the gardens. About a mile away, village stops include Petit Café Provençal, Vin Rouge Bistro and the Sunday market. Les Baux-de-Provence lies north; Saint-Rémy-de-Provence’s market, shops and restaurants are 15 minutes’ drive away. Nearby farms offer olive-oil tastings; Les Alpilles’ walking and cycling trails are a short drive away.

Extra notes

Pool heating can be requested for €300 per week, from May through the end of September. The maximum temperature is 26°C, depending on weather conditions. Payment is required in advance with the balance. Local tax is €4.40 per person per night, payable with the balance. Additional housekeeping costs €25 per hour and is subject to availability. A minimum stay of 14 nights applies during July and August. A security deposit of €4,000 is payable with the balance.
