In Paradou, between Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and Arles, Mas Castillone was restored by designer Liliana Atilova and architect Alain Meylan, whose homes have appeared in Vogue France and Elle Decor. Once a school and village hall, it has a 400-year-old sycamore and seven ensuite bedrooms with Aesop toiletries, limestone showers or brass claw-foot baths. Two living rooms include one with a stone fireplace. Outdoors are a 19-metre heated infinity pool, tennis courts, two seating and dining areas for 14, and a pool house with outdoor kitchen and barbecue. A gym, sauna and hammam complement access to Les Alpilles, nearby Maussane-les-Alpilles and the Camargue.

In April and October, pool heating is available on request for EUR 3,000 per week, to a maximum of 26°C depending on weather conditions. Payment is required in advance when the balance is due. Pool heating is unavailable during the rest of the year. Local tax is EUR 7.50 per person per night, payable when the balance is due.
