In Mouriès, France’s leading olive-growing village, Respelido was restored by interior designer Liliana Atilova and architect Alain Meylan. Five ensuite bedrooms occupy the farmhouse; the sixth is in the summer house. Locally sourced antiques, restored beams and clay tiles accompany limestone walk-in showers and Aesop toiletries. Stone walls, air conditioning and three working fireplaces temper the seasons. The garden’s roses, jasmine and century-old plane tree frame paths between buildings, a four-seat dining area and pétanque court. Beyond the 10-metre heated pool and sauna, Les Alpilles offers walking trails, Les Baux-de-Provence castles, bicycle and boat rentals, September’s olive festival and horse riding in the Camargue.

Stays of four nights or more and flexible changeover days may be considered on request throughout the year, except in July and August. In April and October, pool heating is available on request for EUR 2,000 per week, reaching a maximum of 26°C depending on the weather. Payment must be made in advance when the balance is due. Pool heating is unavailable during the remainder of the year. Local tax is EUR 7.50 per person per night, payable when the balance is due.
