On the 65-hectare Villa Bucher estate near Marsciano, this recently built villa overlooks Umbrian vineyards and hills. Gates lead to a cypress-lined drive, terracotta roofs, landscaped gardens and shaded terraces. Jewel-toned velvet, contemporary sofas and gold accents furnish the interiors.
The main house has two double bedrooms and two studios; across a terrace, the guesthouse contains two independent apartments. A 20m Italian-marble infinity pool and professional wine cellar complement an included tasting of estate Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc and Spumante. Nearby discoveries include Perugia’s medieval palaces, fountain, Gothic cathedral and chocolate; Spello’s flower-lined lanes; Todi above the Tiber; and Orvieto’s mosaic-clad Duomo.

- The main villa’s ground floor contains an open-plan living and dining space with a table for 12, a fully equipped kitchen and a guest bathroom.
- Multiple French doors connect the ground floor to the terraces and garden.
- One studio bedroom is on the ground floor, with a private living room, fireplace and ensuite bathroom.
- The first floor contains two double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and the second studio, which has an ensuite bathroom and a living room with a fireplace.
- Both studios in the main house can be entered only through their individual exterior entrances. The separate guesthouse contains two additional one-bedroom apartments, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor, each with its own entrance.
- The terraces offer several seating areas, including a covered space beside the main villa with sofas and armchairs, plus an outdoor dining table seating eight.
- The 20m swimming pool has an Italian marble lining and sun loungers around it.
