Reached by a winding road, Villa Infinity combines stone walls, white-and-grey interiors and landscaped Mediterranean gardens with natural rock formations. Floor-to-ceiling glazing frames hills and coastline; the sauna also has a view. The terrace offers shaded seating and in-water lounging beside the heated infinity pool. Vence, with its 11th-century cathedral, Old Town and Henri Matisse chapel, is ten minutes away by car. So is Saint-Paul-de-Vence, home to Fondation Maeght, France’s first independent art foundation. Cagnes-sur-Mer’s beaches are 25 minutes away; Nice, Antibes, Cannes and Monaco are within an hour. Evenings can centre on the barbecue or dinner in nearby villages.

A local tax of EUR 3.48 per person per day is payable with the balance. The living area and every bedroom have air-conditioning. The kitchen opens into the dining and living areas in a spacious open-plan arrangement. Neither the kitchen nor the dining area has its own air-conditioning unit. Pool heating costs EUR 360 per week, payable in advance, and is available during Mid, High and Peak seasons. The maximum temperature is 26 degrees, subject to weather conditions. Additional housekeeping can be arranged for EUR 30 per hour, subject to availability. Children younger than 10 are not permitted. Infants are welcome, but cots and highchairs must be requested.
