Built by the d'Arfeuille family, whose local winemaking spans four generations, this farmhouse now belongs to a wine-and-design-loving couple who visit off-season with family. Their travel collection includes Texan steer horns, Persian rugs, Moroccan posters, Indian papier-mâché busts and David Kigozi paintings. Confit pots, an olive tree and vineyard views retain its Bordeaux character. A hammock and sunbeds accompany the 10m saltwater pool; the shaded terrace seats 12. A Lacanche-equipped kitchen is complemented by an outdoor kitchen and barbecue. Nearby UNESCO-protected Saint-Émilion offers Michelin-starred restaurants, wineries, tasting lounges, bars and boutiques. Markets await in Libourne and Bordeaux’s Bacalan; Ressources’ sommelier selects the villa’s arrival wines.
