Recently built above Sala Comacina on Lake Como’s western shore, Villa Sala pairs Italian elegance with the owner’s Indian influences and Bond-like cinematic touches. Its quiet, secluded hillside setting offers 180-degree views. One level is almost entirely floor-to-ceiling glass; mirrors hide storage, sliding panels conceal televisions, and a decorative fireplace sits within glass. Sunset illuminates the lake-facing dining area, loungers, terrace and heated pool. Summer gardens feature Mediterranean planting, olives and seasonal greenery. Four distinctive en suite bedrooms include a principal suite with dressing room and balcony. Rental includes water, gas and electricity, Wi-Fi, air-conditioning and heating where available, bed linen and towels on arrival with weekly changes for stays exceeding seven nights, welcome items, final cleaning, and garden and pool maintenance. The details

The upper level contains the main entrance, open-plan living and dining spaces, a fully equipped kitchen, and the principal bedroom with en suite bathroom, walk-in wardrobe and balcony.
The lower level contains three further en suite bedrooms, plus an informal bar and television lounge with access to the pool terrace.
The outdoor swimming pool measures approximately 8 x 3 metres and is heated from May through September. Sun loungers, sofas and open-air dining spaces face the lake.
A welcome hamper includes local specialities: artisan pasta, tomato sauce, olive oil, fresh fruit, sparkling wine and a freshly baked cake.
Access is along a steep, winding hillside road; a suitable vehicle is recommended.
