Designed by its local architect-owner, Almyra Residence pairs clean lines and Pop Art colours with a retractable glass façade. The garden overlooks the Aegean and White Mountains. Two bedrooms share a full-length balcony; the third opens to a private courtyard garden. Outdoors are a pool, pergola-shaded lounge, barbecue and dining area. Almyrida, a former fishing village with a marina, sandy bay and calm water, is under ten minutes away on foot. A car-free stay is possible, while northwest Crete offers coves, ravines and mountains to explore. Plaka and Kalyves are four and 14 minutes’ drive away; medieval Chania, with its Venetian harbour and Old Town, is under 40 minutes away.

Inclusions

A villa manager is available for arrivals and guest assistance.
Housekeeping takes place daily except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, for approximately 1 hour 20 minutes between 10am and 2pm.
Bed linen and towels are changed midweek, on Tuesdays.
The pool is maintained twice a week in the early morning; garden maintenance takes approximately one hour every Thursday.
Bathrobes, slippers, luxury toiletries and fresh flowers are provided on arrival.
The rental includes water, gas and electricity, Wi-Fi, air-conditioning/heating where available, an initial supply of bed linen and towels with weekly changes for stays exceeding 7 nights, welcome items, final cleaning, and garden and pool maintenance. At some properties, electricity, air-conditioning and heating use may be subject to a weekly allowance where specified in the extra notes.

The details

The ground floor has an open-plan living room, fully equipped kitchen and dining area.
The lower ground floor contains a bedroom opening to a private courtyard and a separate family spa bathroom with a steam room.
Two ensuite bedrooms occupy the first floor and share a sea-facing balcony; one has a bathtub.
The outdoor terrace includes an 11m pool, barbecue, dining area and lounge. Pool heating is available at an additional charge with advance notice.
For larger parties, Almyra Residence can be booked together with its sister villa, Villa Ammos, which also accommodates six, subject to availability.

Pool heating can be arranged on request for EUR 450 per week, payable locally on arrival. Grocery shopping can be arranged on request for EUR 35 plus the cost of the groceries, payable locally on arrival. E-bikes are available locally through the Unicorn mobility app from 1st May, at an additional cost. Cook or chef services and laundry services can be arranged on request at an additional charge. Local regulations prohibit setting the air-conditioning below 24°C. Please enquire before booking if young children will be staying. Parts of the grounds, particularly around the pool, are not particularly suitable for children. Outside peak season, shorter stays of at least five nights are available with a flexible changeover day. Larger groups can rent Almyra Residence together with Villa Ammos, its sister property on the same estate. The estate contains 3 properties close to one another, each operating independently with its own private entrance.
