In Tuscany’s Chianti hills, Casetta nel Chianti pairs honey-coloured stone with terracotta floors, ceiling beams and working fireplaces. Three main-house bedrooms have marble ensuites and garden access; a fourth occupies the poolside guest house. A hibiscus terrace overlooks Rietine, while cypresses frame the pool. A stone barbecue, shaded lounge and pergola support outdoor living. Gaiole’s castles, wineries, trattorias, Rampini ceramics and e-bike rentals are 4km away. Gaiole, Castello di Meleto with Osteria di Meleto, and Rocca di Castagnoli are five-minute drives. Badia a Coltibuono is 15 minutes away; Castello di Brolio, 20. Extra notes

There are unguarded drops and slopes on the grounds. Young children must be supervised continuously. Approximately 350 metres of the approach road are unpaved; the road is in fair condition and remains accessible. A caretaker lives in separate accommodation on the property, allowing for privacy and prompt assistance. All bedrooms have air-conditioning, charged according to consumption. Heating is available for an additional fee. The electric car charging station is available at extra cost. Additional housekeeping can be arranged at €25 per hour. Under local regulations, city tax must be paid on site in cash, at approximately €2 per person per night.
