Six minutes from medieval Radda in Chianti, Villa Pianvecchio overlooks olive groves, vineyards and hills. Its Austrian owners discovered two ruined properties while holidaying nearby and commissioned a local architect to restore them. Pianvecchio was completed in 2019; sister villa Castiglioni followed in 2020. Suited to multigenerational families and friends, the farmhouse combines contemporary living spaces with a playground, panoramic outdoor pool, gym and steam room. Outdoor cooking facilities and a well-stocked wine cellar support meals at home. Florence and Siena are an hour away by car; nearby, Chianti Classico DOC’s centuries-old winemaking heritage meets historic hill towns and restaurants serving seasonal local produce.

A villa manager is available for arrivals and assistance during your stay.
Continental breakfast is served daily; service only is included, with groceries payable locally.
A light dinner is included on the Monday following arrival.
Housekeeping is provided for five hours a day, six days a week.
Bed linen and towels are changed midweek.
Wine tasting at the Tenuta di Carleone cellar is included.

Before arrival, EUR 1,000 must be sent by bank transfer to cover additional services during your stay. If these charges exceed EUR 1,000, the remaining balance must be paid on site by credit card at departure. Additional housekeeping is subject to availability and costs EUR 30 per hour on weekdays and EUR 38 per hour on Sundays. Pool heating can be requested for EUR 100 per day, subject to weather conditions. Local regulations require the city tax to be paid on site in cash, at approximately EUR 2 per person per night.
