At Domaine de Val Claire, 1700s beams, a wine-vat refrigerator and grape-pulley hooks recall winemaking days. Olive oil and bedtime lavender drops now come from the estate. Colourful interiors include green Toile de Jouy; gardens combine pines, fruit trees, roses and a trout-filled river. Courtyard fountains, flowers and fairy lights frame outdoor dinners; an Indochine-inspired honesty lounge adjoins the covered terrace. A poolside Scandinavian-style sauna, tennis court and swing seat offer diversions. Summer brings sheep bells; three Camargue horses live along the path. The garden includes a 12m pool, an honesty bar, a gym, a sauna, an outdoor shower, a summer kitchen, a barbecue and a tennis court.
The ground-floor bedroom is accessible and has an accessible shower.
The ground floor contains one king-size bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and terrace access, alongside a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, an office and a laundry room.
All bedrooms have air-conditioning. Eight of the nine bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms; one uses a separate bathroom with a shower.
The first floor contains seven bedrooms, two with king-size beds. These include the main bedroom, whose ensuite has a bath, double showers and a double basin; the bedroom also has a walk-in wardrobe and TV.
Four first-floor rooms have queen-size beds and courtyard or garden views. A separate games room contains a TV, games and twin beds.
The second floor contains two double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, desks and garden views. One has a bath.

Extra notes

The resident house manager and his wife can assist when needed. Two additional twin beds in the games room are available on request, ideal for teenagers or staff. Pool heating can be requested for Christmas, Mid and Low season at EUR 500 per week. The maximum temperature is 25°C, subject to weather conditions. Payment is required in advance when the balance is due. Local tax is EUR 5.76 per person per night, payable when the balance is due.
