Built around 1950 as a hunting lodge, L'Oliveraie is now a split-level, fully air-conditioned home retaining period details and regional retro posters. An easel in the living room reflects its appeal to photographers, writers and painters; Matisse and Picasso also found inspiration locally. Terraced olives descend towards Vallon du Malvan, with the Alpes-Maritimes northwest above Vence. A heated 9m pool, boules, table tennis, chess beneath pines, garden games and barbecues offer outdoor diversions. On the ground floor, the living room includes a fireplace, TV and seating, and leads to a south-facing terrace with a barbecue and sheltered seating.
The fully equipped kitchen and indoor dining area, with a table seating 12, connect to an outdoor dining area beneath a portico.
The main villa’s first floor contains three double bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom. One has a private Juliet balcony, while another opens onto the terrace. A separate bathroom includes both a bath and a shower.
The separate annexe contains the remaining two bedrooms: one ensuite twin room and one ensuite double room with a king-size bed.
The annexe has a living area with a TV, a sofa bed and TV, and access to an outdoor dining area seating six. Its fully equipped kitchen also seats six.
