Created nearly two decades ago by a Norman Foster-trained architect, Pearla Akoya occupies a secluded four-acre headland. Shuttered French windows illuminate white, open-plan interiors. A wrap-around terrace includes a covered barbecue loggia and an eight-seat table overlooking Kaparelli Island and the Albanian mountains. Steps descend to a freshwater infinity pool; a garden path reaches a shared private pebble beach and jetty. Woodland, a wild pear tree and boules offer quiet diversions. Two bedrooms occupy a Venetian-style tower. Restored Old Perithia, abandoned in the 1960s, is 30 minutes away by car; Corfu Town is just over an hour away.
