Completed in 2024, Villa Horizon overlooks the sea where Rodopos Peninsula meets northwest Crete. Its private beach, reached by a short path, has natural plunge pools, water-entry platforms, sofas, sunbeds and a shower. A concealed kitchen offers cold drinks and shade along the return route. Snorkelling and fishing equipment, communal and quiet spaces, a piano—the villa’s first purchase—and an August-fruiting fig tree complete the setting. Napatiza taverna is ten minutes’ walk away; beachfront Wave on the Rock is a short drive. Chania is around 35 minutes by car. Nearby coastal outings include Elafonissi, Falassarna and Balos, best visited early.

One suite includes a private sauna, an ensuite bathroom and a living area with TV. Its bed can be configured as a double or twins, and a sofa bed is also available.
A separate guest wing has a double bed, an ensuite bathroom, an outdoor shower and space for two children.

Extra notes

Pool heating is available on request for EUR 100 per day, payable locally. The ice bath is available on request for EUR 250 per week, payable locally. Its temperature can be set to guests’ preference between 4 and 12°C. On request, the maximum occupancy of 12 guests across six bedrooms may be increased by two guests using extra beds, without an additional bedroom. The supplement is EUR 100 per person per day, payable locally. A nightly climate change tax is collected locally on arrival: EUR 15 per night from April to November and EUR 4 per night from November to March. Bedroom one has a skylight rather than a conventional window. Sea access involves uneven steps and is unsuitable for guests with mobility difficulties. Sun loungers and umbrellas are provided at the waterfront, but entry to the sea is over rocks, not from a sandy beach. Diving from the platform is strictly prohibited because of dangerous rocks; a ladder provides access to the water. The terraced garden and unfenced pool make the property unsuitable for recommendation to families with young children. Children must be supervised at all times. The approach follows a rough dirt track with uneven surfaces and is not recommended for low-clearance vehicles. The villa manager will meet you at an agreed meeting point and guide you to the villa.
