Built in the 16th century and converted into a summer residence two centuries later, Villa La Quiete retains frescoes, terrazzo floors, chandeliers and antique furnishings. One suite holds the bed Napoleon and Josephine Bonaparte used at Palazzo Serbelloni. Renovations added air-conditioning, new bathrooms and mattresses matching those at its manager, Grand Hotel Tremezzo. Every suite overlooks Lake Como. Gardens contain a pool and shaded dining area; a private jetty supports boat charters. A chef, housekeepers and round-the-clock butler serve guests. Less than a mile away, the hotel offers peak-season access to its spa, gym, tennis court and private beach. Bellagio is approximately 15 minutes away by boat.

Extra notes

The first-floor drawing room may be reserved for private dinners on request, for an additional fee. Entry to the first-floor bedrooms and the private museum on the second floor is strictly prohibited. These areas are protected by an advanced security system. Complimentary Grand Hotel Tremezzo services are available from March 20 through November 1, 2026, inclusive: spa facilities, excluding treatments; the tennis court, with the option to book a lesson with a Tennis Pro; the T Fitness gym; the private beach; and three heated pools, comprising two outdoor pools and one indoor pool. Local regulations require city tax to be paid on site in cash, at approximately €5 per person per night. Food and beverages are payable locally. Day visits by outside guests, limited to a maximum of 5 people, must be discussed with and approved by the Villa Manager. An additional charge applies to these guests. Events and functions are permitted only during low and mid season, with an additional event fee. At check-in, the Villa Manager will place a EUR 15,000 pre-authorization on the Client's credit card for the entire booking amount. This serves as a security deposit for damage caused by Clients inside or outside the villa. Before departure, the Villa Manager and Client will inspect all areas together. If no damage has occurred, the pre-authorized amount will be released immediately after check-out. Check-in begins at 3pm. Check-out must be completed by noon.
