A 17th-century Bernardini summer estate just over four miles from Lucca, Villa Lenka combines frescoes, antiques, gold drapery and oil paintings with high-speed Wi-Fi, satellite TV and full air-conditioning. Seven ensuite bedrooms accommodate 14; reception rooms, jasmine-covered gazebos and lakeside spaces invite gathering. Cypress and lemon trees frame the pool. Chef-prepared breakfast and one daily meal, housekeeping and an English-speaking concierge support stays; sporting facilities are five minutes’ drive away. Lucca’s walled centre, boutiques, weekly markets and trattorias are ten minutes away. La Cecca is walkable; Forte dei Marmi’s beach clubs are 40 minutes away, and Florence’s galleries and gardens an hour and 15 minutes.

Extra notes

Outside suppliers may not enter the estate, to protect every guest’s privacy. All additional services must be arranged exclusively through the estate’s concierge team, which can be contacted before arrival. Coordination is included in the rental. Guests may use a multi-purpose tennis court on a nearby estate, approximately two minutes away by car. It can be adapted for football or volleyball and is shared with the other houses on that estate. Heating, air-conditioning and electricity are included up to a combined allowance of 2,000 kWh per week. Meal and beverage charges are €20 per person for breakfast and €50–€60 per person for lunch or dinner, depending on the menu chosen. Chef service covers breakfast and one main meal on six days each week, with Wednesday off. Housekeeping is provided on six mornings each week, with Sunday off.
