Set among olive groves and vines in Drios, Villa Pyrgalia realises its owners’ vision of a contemporary Cycladic home connected to its produce. A whitewashed main house and two guest houses combine pale-yellow floors, white-beamed ceilings, warm lighting, blue accents and Greek wood and metal artworks. Bedrooms have shaded terraces and smart TVs. Terraces and a veranda surround a 20-metre freshwater infinity pool with daybeds. An outdoor kitchen, barbecue, wine cooler, ice maker, indoor-outdoor audio, equipped gym, solar hot water and underfloor temperature control support daily life. Views reach across the Aegean to Naxos; a small boat port adjoins the property.

The details

The main house contains three double bedrooms. The guest house has one double bedroom and a room with two single sofa beds and a kitchenette; the guest suite contains a further double bedroom.
Every bedroom has an en-suite bathroom except one in the guest house, which uses a separate bathroom.
The open-plan guest suite includes a small sitting area, a kitchenette and an outdoor terrace.
The generous living area overlooks the pool and several outdoor sitting and dining spaces, and connects to a kitchen equipped with Miele appliances.
The outdoor kitchen provides a barbecue grill, refrigerator, ice maker, preparation surface and sink.
Behind the garden of fragrant plants, the gym offers exercise equipment and free weights.

Extra notes

Booking requires a non-refundable deposit of 40%. Greece’s Climate Resilience Tax is charged in addition to the rental price. From April through October, the charge is EUR 15 per day, payable locally. Occupancy is limited to 12 guests, including children. One bedroom contains two single sofa beds. Children must remain supervised at all times, particularly near the pool and sea. Short stays may be possible for specific dates, subject to enquiry, with a minimum stay of five nights. A cot and high chair are available on request at no extra charge. The beach access path is made of individual slate slabs; extra care is required when walking on them. Although the villa is directly on the beachfront, Greek law does not allow beaches to be private. Other people may access and use the beach.
