Built for an American admiral in the early 1900s, Villa Regina retains nautical details within its pink exterior and private park. Acquired in 2000, it was extensively renovated, exposing a former cellar while retaining its vaulted ceilings. Interiors combine American and Italian design from 1950–2000, Cassina, Vitra and Moroso furniture, and sculptures by Bizhan Bassiri. Five minutes’ walk from Lenno, the gardens feature azaleas, ginkgo, red acacia, bamboo and olives, overlooking Bellagio and the Gulf of Lenno. A chef cooks with organic garden produce. Nine bedrooms, indoor and outdoor pools, a tennis court, air-conditioned gym and pergola dining for 20 accommodate families and groups.

A lift connects all five floors. Walk-in showers are wheelchair-accessible, and the owners confirm that wheelchair guests can use the property, garden and pool.
The principal suite includes a round king-size bed, double balcony, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite Carrara marble bathroom with shower. Two suites offer queen-size beds, lake views and en-suite shower bathrooms; one bed converts into twins.
One suite has a queen-size bed and garden views; another has a queen-size bed beneath low, sloping eaves. Each has an en-suite bathroom with shower.
Two additional bedrooms have queen-size beds and lake or garden views. They share a bathroom with a bathtub and double shower.
An apartment contains one twin bedroom and one double bedroom, sharing a bathroom with a bathtub and shower.
